数学物理研究室王征平博士等完成的论文“Positive solution for nonlinear Schrödinger equation with deepening potential well”正式发表在《欧洲数学会杂志(JEMS)》[Journal of the European Mathematical Society, 11(2009), 545-573]上。他们的这篇文章通过分区域应用山路引理的新思路，用统一的方法完整地讨论了一类带井位势的非线性Schrodinger方程中相关参数对其稳态解的存在性的影响，对这类问题是否有解给出了一个简单直观的判定方法。这一结果很好地完善了已有的相关结果。审稿人认为“This is a very good paper dealing the existence of a positive…”“This seems to be the first paper covering the regions V to VII and hence giving a complete picture of the solvability. Furthermore, in all cases the existence of a solution is obtained from a mountain pass theorem although the details of argument change from region to region.”“the proofs are clear and well-written. I have no hestitation in recommending this paper for publication in the JEMS”。
JEMS是一个较新的，但同时具有很高声誉的国际综合性数学杂志，这也是我所首次在该杂志上发表文章。
